Robot3- Front view Robot3 is a little more pleasing to look at than Robot 1. He's built in a plastic storage tub purchased from K-Mart and fastened to a wooden base board for support. The electrical system is 12 volts The tub houses the 2 motor controllers, the 12 volt 32AH battery and two kiddie car motors. The white box on the top originally housed some telecom equipment and was purchased at a hamfest. Presently, it contains the Basic Stamp2 micro and supporting circuits, a 2 line LCD used for debugging and an RC receiver. Soon it will also house a 3 watt Amateur TV transmitter. A new color Cybereye camera will feed the transmitter. The camera will sit on top a box containing a radio controlled stepper motor and supporting electronics for panning the camera. This assembly will sit atop the white telecom box. Watch this page for updates.
